Robert Gordon Brigham

Robert G. Brigham, 82, passed away peacefully at his home on July 6, 2026. He was born in Johnson City, NY to the late Gordon and Emma Brigham. He was also predeceased by his sons, David Brigham, and Donald Brigham; his brother, Frederick; and his sisters, Joyce, and Janice. Survivors include his children, Danny Brigham, Mark Brigham, and Buffy and Richard Gale; his grandchildren, Louis and Mary Brigham, Brittney and Andrew Ritz, Jessica and Nate Shipley, Gabriel and Dylan Wedge, and David and Tessa Brigham; his great grandchildren, Tyson, Taylor, Landon, Levi, Luke, Jason, Lincoln, Finley, Rory, David, Jr., Sophia, and Grace; his sisters, Kathy, Betty Lou, and Alberta; as well as his former wife and good friend, Erma Brigham.

Robert made his living as a machinist at Unison in Norwich, retiring after many years of service. His family remembers him as fun loving, always ready with a joke or to go out for ice cream. In his spare time, Robert loved to spend time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.

A graveside service for Robert will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Norwich at a later date.
