

Bob served in the United States Navy from January 9, 1969 to January 15, 1973. He completed basic training at the U.S. Naval Training Center in Great Lakes, IL and then went on to serve on the USS Aeolus (ARC-3). He achieved the rank of Machinist’s Mate Fireman, E3.
He was predeceased by his father, Adolph Casse, his mother, Jessie Spencer, and his sister, Joan Bryden.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years (Nadene) Sue (Huntley); his children, Bobbi-Sue (Robert) Raymond, Sandra (Paul) Frechette, Robert (Kate) Casse II, Teresa (Peter) Schopfer, Sheri (Scott) Howe, Ken (Stacy) Barrows Jr., and Brooke (Joe) Gibson; 19 grandchildren plus great-grandchildren; his sister, Larraine Miller, his brother, Adolph (Michelle) Casse II; his brother in law, Arnold Huntley; his sister in law, Lori (Grant) Preston; and many more nieces and nephews.
Bob had worked for Victory Markets, the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, and later retired from New York State Department of Corrections in 2013. His hobbies where hunting, fishing, carpentry, karate, and hiking the Finger Lakes Trail. He loved family gatherings, watching the grandchildren’s sporting events, a good campfire, and watching the sunset.
Bob turned his life to Christ and served as the Deacon of the Beaver Meadow Christian Church.
Please join us by wearing your favorite flannel shirt to Bob’s memorial service on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the Beaver Meadow Christian Church, 112 Church St, Plymouth, NY at 4:00pm. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 2:00pm until the time of service. There will be a reception with cake and coffee following the service.
