Rollins was a very adventurous spirit, who had a love for sports as a teenager. He played basketball in school which continued into his adulthood. Rollins loved basketball so much that he shared that love with his children and other kids he saw so much potential in. He was a coach and a referee through the YMCA and helped out with the annual Gus Macker throughout the years.
Rollins was a huge fan of the Syracuse Orangemen. He loved the Syracuse basketball team, along with their football team! He would watch the games on television with his kids or by himself any chance he could. He also would get season passes to attend those games, bringing his kids to meet some of the players.
Rollins taught himself as a teenager how to cook, and he sure was a good one. He tried new recipes throughout the years, and his famous meatballs were always a fan favorite.
Rollins had so much love in his heart for his family. He cheered his kids on in any activities they did whether it was a sport, or an instrument. He was very intelligent and would make sure his kids understood anything that they were learning. He gave them fun goals to achieve, like filling a milk jug to the top full of any change or money they earned. And once they did he promised a Disneyland trip. And that’s exactly what happened!
Rollins is survived by his children, Brooklyn (Christopher) Pearson, Emma Crane, Connor Renfrow (Crane), and Quinn Crane-Booth; his two granddaughters, Addie Pearson and Paityn Pearson, and a third grandchild (baby boy) due next month! His mother, Beverly Byrne; his sister, Cheyenne (Scott) Horton; many nieces and nephews; his aunts, Cecile Sherwood and Charlene Decker along with several cousins.
R.I.P Rollins K. Crane, you will forever be loved and missed!
