Sandra R. Cook

Born in Norwich, NY on June 14, 1950 daughter of the late Robert and Gloria M. (Gould) Rowlison.

Sandy was a devout Christian. She was an avid gardener and grew many plants for friends and family. She was a great Friend. She loved to make arrangements of flowers for her friends and family. She loved her dog Jett and would often be seen walking back and forth on Broad Street walking her. She met a lot of neighbors, who would become great friends to her.

She graduated from Norwich High School in 1969 and kept many friendships thru the years. As a young women she traveled around the U.S. but always came back to Norwich.

She is survived by her son CJ Miles of Oxford, NY, brothers Tom Rowlison (Rosie) and Robert Rowlison Jr., who reside in Norwich, NY, sister Christine Featherstone (Keith) who resides in South Dakota, Nieces Angie Wightman, Mary Rowlison Putman, Jennifer Rowlison and nephew Alex Anderson (Cary). Special thanks to Cheri Ring, Sandra's best friend and Beanie Iverson and Fran who have taken over the care of Jett the dog.

A celebration of life will be held at City Church 97 Silver Street Norwich, NY July 18, 2026 at 11:00am.
