

He was born October 20, 1972 in Norwich, the son of Stanley G. Adsit Sr. and Eleanor Turner.
He and is fiancée, Bridget Shantal, made their home in North Norwich.
Stanley held a variety of jobs in his career, including as a teacher’s aide for DCMO BOCES, a certified nursing assistant for Chenango Memorial Hospital, and as the assistant director for Springbrook in Chenango County.
In his leisure time, Stanley enjoyed taking camping trips, hiking, and playing practical jokes on his family and friends. He held a love for animals, particularly his dogs, and he enjoyed time spent in their company. His daughters were the light of his life, and he enjoyed attending their dance competitions.
He is survived by his fiancée: Bridget Shantal; his daughters: Hailey, Alyssa, and Nevaeh Adsit, all of North Norwich; his step-father: Larry Hall of Smyrna; his sisters and brothers: Cindy (Paul) McInturf of Texas, Larry (Pauiline) Adsit of South Plymouth, Lisa Harrington of Sherburne, Diana (Wayne) Johnson of Sherburne, Melisa (Rusty) Johnson of Smyrna, and Jesse (Sandy) Hall of Smyrna; his future father-in-law: Bruce (Donna) Shantal of Canastota; his future mother-in-law: Mary (Tom) Parmeter of Smithfield; and his future brothers- and sister-in-law: Bruce (Jodie) Shantal of Lincoln, Billie Jo Shantal of Erieville, and Clayton Shantal of Illinois; as well as 19 nieces and nephews, and 35 great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother: Eleanor Jane Hall; and his father: Stanley Adsit Sr.
Calling hours will be held on December 31, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 North Broad Street, Norwich. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Frank Wallis, pastor of the Old Mill Christian Life Fellowship in South Plymouth, officiating.
Private interment will take place in North Norwich Cemetery.
