

Thomas Edward Curtis, 84, passed away on July 22, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on October 8, 1940, in Utica, New York, the son of the late Lottie G. Pike-Curtis and Mark Edward Curtis.
Tom was a graduate of Sherburne Central High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Syracuse University. He dedicated 36 years of his career to Norwich-Eaton Pharmaceuticals and later Procter & Gamble, where he was known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and sense of responsibility.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; daughter Katherine L. Budak; grandchildren Michelle, Martin, Megan, Olivia, and Aaron; and great-grandchildren Athena, Alana, Collin, Artemis, Apollo, MJ, and Ares.
An avid outdoorsman, Tom had a lifelong passion for hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, canoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
He believed in contributing to his community and served as President and member of the North Norwich Cemetery Association, on the North Norwich Town Board, and as North Norwich Assessor.
Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the family he loved, the land he cherished, and the lives he touched.
A private service was held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Norwich Cemetery Association or the Sherburne United Methodist Church.
