She was born May 31, 1936 in Newburgh,NY to Samuel J Leghorn and Julia "Marie" Trumpelman. She was a member of NFA class of 1954.
She raised her five children, on her own, in New Windsor, NY. She entered the work force as a seamstress and worked her way to a career at USMA West Point, NY where she proudly retired.
After 50 years in New Windsor she relocated to Myrtle Beach,SC. She spent 10 years enjoying beach life and friends before moving back to NY.
Her brother George Leghorn (wife Barbara) reside in Newburgh,NY.
She was pre-deceased by her son Thomas R Perrego Jr. She is survived by her son George Perrego, daughter Joanne Wright ( husband Michael), daughter Mary Ann Ritosa ( husband Denis), and daughter Lisa with whom she resided.
She was grandmom to eight and also great-grandmom to eight.
Of course we can't forget her beloved dog Bentley.
