Hebb, Ann Marie (Shaw), 75, passed away at the Waterview Lodge in Ashland, MA, on July 27, 2019. She was born in Lynn, MA on August 21, 1943 to the late Richard W. and Elizabeth Frances (Authier) Shaw. She grew up in Lynn and spent most of her adult life in Arlington, MA. She met her husband, James Hebb, while working at the Arthur D. Little Co. in Cambridge. While living in Arlington, they had their children Jeffery, Wendy and Andrew. She and James divorced in the early 1980’s but have remained friends since. After working for Arthur D. Little Co., she became the Purchasing Manager at Syms in Arlington and then at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge from where she retired. After retiring, Ann Marie moved to North Carolina where she lived for six years, then moved to Norwood, and finally to Ashland.

Ann Marie was an avid golfer and loved to play in tournaments all over New England. She especially enjoyed playing in the tournament named after her late uncle, Al Shaw, the Shaw Invitational at the Jack O’Lantern Resort in New Hampshire. When she wasn’t golfing, she enjoyed gardening and hanging out with her friends on Robin Hood Road in Arlington. Most of all, she especially loved spending time with her precious grandchildren.

Ann Marie is the beloved mother of Jeffery J. Hebb and his wife Melinda of Ashland, Wendy (Hebb) Mannering and her husband Robert of Norwood, and Andrew J. Hebb and his wife Elizabeth of Norwood. She was the cherished grandmother of Amelia, Lila, Jeffery, Jr Hebb, Jake, Molly, Liam, and Ally Mannering and Coleman Hebb. She is also survived by her aunt Mal Shaw.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 5-7 pm at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., Norwood, MA 02062.
