
Caroline was born on December 25, 1946, the daughter of Elizabeth and Roland Cutler. She grew up in Sudbury, MA and attended St. Hubert's School in Sudbury. She later earned a degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Northeastern University. She worked at Fernald School and then at a nursing home in Dorchester.
Caroline was an avid reader, wrote many wonderful poems and enjoyed creating art. She was active in her church, United Parish in Brookline. She traveled and enjoyed family celebrations. Her cats were special to her and she was devoted to them.
She is survived by her sister, Anne Cutler-Russo, and her brother-in-law, Thomas Russo, of Athol, MA. She is also survived by two nieces, Claire Russo of Amesbury, MA and Elizabeth Ellis and her husband Tyndall Ellis of Anchorage, Alaska. She leaves several cousins and many special friends at her church, United Parish in Brookline, and at Mount Pleasant Home in Jamaica Plain where she lived.
Caroline was predeceased by her parents.
There are no calling hours. A celebration of her life will be held at United Parish in Brookline on September 29 at 10:00 followed by a reception at the church. A short graveside service at 1:00 at Wadsworth Cemetery in Sudbury will then follow the reception.
