Raised and educated in Dorchester, she was a graduate of Dorchester High School, class of 1938.
Daughter of the late John and Helen Manning; beloved wife of the late William J. Galley; loving mother of Stephen Galley of CA, Mark Galley of NJ, and the late Christopher Galley; mother-in law of Annette, Karen and Alison; grandmother of Tina, Stephen, David, Robert, Alice and Lian; great-grandmother of Matthew and Sarah; sister of the late John and Joseph Manning; aunt of 4 nephews and 3 nieces.
Catherine was a devout, life-long Roman Catholic who will be very happy to finally be in the arms of Jesus.
A private interment will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
