Catherine R. (Phalen) Hastings

Beloved wife of the late John V. Hastings, Jr.; loving mother of Barbara Susi and her husband Joseph of Norwood, Jeanne DiLorenzo and her husband Stephen of Hudson, NH, John “Jack” Hastings and his wife Joanne of Plymouth, James Hastings and his wife Jane of Brewster, MA, Robert Hastings of Georgia, David Hastings of Yarmouthport, the late Suzie Pothier and her husband Shawn (whom survives) and Cathy Hastings of Rochester, NY; sister of Robert Phalen. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and predeceased by her grandson, Marc DiLorenzo.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 8:00am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Interment will be in Chandler Gray Cemetery, Yarmouthport. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
