David J. McDonough

Born and raised in Norwood, he was the son of Phyllis (Condon) McDonough of Norwood and the late Charles McDonough and the beloved husband of Sandra (Augenstene) McDonough; loving step-father of Linda Hannon of Attleboro and Paul Hannon and Julie of Bellingham; “Grampie Dave” to Sara Hannon; Devoted brother of Catherine Hudson and her husband Joseph of Cummaquid, Charles McDonough and his wife Joanne of Hanson, Patrick McDonough and his wife Susan, Joseph and his wife Jeanmarie, Michael McDonough and his wife Barbara, all of Norwood and the late Faye McDonough. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

David was quick with a joke, loved being at Aho Grove. He was creative on the dance floor and loved his "Sara Lee" Sandy.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11th at 9:00am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Timothy’s Church, 650 Nichols Street, Norwood. Interment will follow the Mass in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm.
