Dorothy Ann Donahue

Dorothy Ann (Golden) Donahue, age 96 of Quincy and formerly of Norwood, passed away on Friday December 12, 2025.

Born in South Boston, she was the daughter of the late Francis M. And Mildred (McConville) Golden.  Dorothy attended Boston Schools, and enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of 54 years of the late John M. Donahue, and the devoted mother of Michael and his wife Mary Ann of East Weymouth, John and his wife Paula of Walpole, and Kevin and his wife Sara of Franklin.  She was the sister of Mildred Davis of Mansfield, Claire McDonough of Naples FLA, and the late Joseph Golden, Ruth Conti, Paul Golden, Marie Doucette, Francis Golden, Peter Golden, and Kevin Golden.  Dorothy was the proud grandmother of Michael and his wife Jennifer, Thomas, John and his wife Kelsey, Cori and her husband Aeddan, Jennafer and her husband Nicholas, Erin, Emily, Kyle, Troy, and the great-grandmother of Peyton, Harper, and Graham.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. 

Visiting Hours in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD on Wednesday December 17, from 4-7 PM, and again on Thursday beginning at 10 AM, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
