Dear Carolyn and Family: Sal and I were shocked and heartbroken when we heard the terrible news about Ed. It was almost unbelievable because we were all together celebrating Easter Dinner at Mark and Karen’s house. We had so much fun that day - plenty of laughs while taking our trip down “Memory Lane”. Being of an “older generation “ 😅 we of course shared a lot of the same trials and tribulations “back in the day”. My best memory of Ed was when he told me he taught at the Clarence R Edwards school in Charlestown. Being a “Townie” myself, and having had attended the “Eddys” (Townie talk) ,I told him I thought I had him as one of my teachers ...... (I told hIm I was a Child Prodagy!). ...we shared many a story about Charlestown and its history. However, because my “kids” say I go on and on I will close with another memory .... the “almost missing painting” from Mark’s house. I did try and post this memory earlier but knowing how Ed loved his phone, I think he made a call to “someone” to delete it. We will certainly miss you Ed; our get-togethers, and his great sense of humor! R.I.P Ed ❤️

Carolyn and Family
You have my sympathy. Eddie was one of my cousins and I knew him best as a child and teen. He was pleasant and charming--especially to the younger cousins. I recall attending your wedding, Carolyn; it was lovely and you and Eddie appeared to have the world. So much love.

The memories I have are so precious, from him telling my husband and son how he caught me “ mugging up” with a boy on his front steps when I was in high school... to all the great times down the Cape. Later he and Carolyn hosted us for a week spent boating and having a great time as my husband had never been to Cape Cod. In Fort Myers we shared many wonderful meals with Ed all cooked by his beloved bride and he always showed me how he had my kids pictures on his bedroom mirror next to Jesus’ picture. I think that’s the most precious memory now as I know he loved the Lord and is now in eternal peace and happiness- a treasure that awaits us in heaven when our journeys end. Farewell friend. My deepest condolences to all the Brady’s- you are all very dear to our hearts and are in our prayers for peace and consolation.

Oh Kevin, my heart goes out to you and your family in the passing of your dad. He leaves a wonderful legacy in you, and I’m sure in your siblings as well. May the presence of Jesus be near and the memories of good times and sharing with family be of comfort to you in the days ahead.
