Eleanor C. (Connell) Keefe

KEEFE, Eleanor C. (Connell) of Walpole, former longtime Norwood resident, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2014. Mrs. Keefe spent many years working for Norfolk Country Trust Company and then doing volunteer work for St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood Ecumenical Food Pantry and FEMA.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Keefe; Loving mother of Stephen F. Keefe and his wife Diane of Norwood; cherished grandmother of Gregory Keefe of Washington, DC, Jeffrey Keefe of Milford and Nancy Keefe of Norwood; devoted sister of Phyllis Clifford of Minnesota. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12th at 9:00 AM from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Interment will follow the Mass in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 11th from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
