Frances Anne Pirpiris

PIRPIRIS, (Jenkins) Frances Anne, age 59, of Norwood, MA, formerly of Randolph and of South Boston, passed peacefully in her home on June 7, 2021. She was the devoted and caring mother to George and Dimitra Pirpiris.

Fran was born on August 21, 1961, to Frances Anne (Boudreau) Holodiloff, and adopted by James and Eileen (Van Leer) Jenkins of South Boston. She attended Gate of Heaven parochial school in South Boston and Mount St. Joseph’s Academy in Brighton, MA, graduating in 1979. She worked in bookkeeping/accounting for over 40 years and was most recently employed by Allied Bolt and Screw Co. in Canton, MA, where she was a most valued and trusted employee for over 10 years. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, gardening, and caring for her cats, whom she adored. She loved the ocean and spent many years as a child boating in Boston Harbor with her family. Her favorite social activity was attending King Richard’s Renaissance Faire in Carver, MA, in which she participated every year. Fran’s most recognizable traits were her soft voice and quiet demeanor.

Fran leaves behind her brother Thomas Jenkins, (Dawn), niece Amanda Jenkins, nephew Gregory Jenkins, all of Quincy, MA, aunt Geraldine Jenkins of Peabody, MA, birth mother Frances Anne Holodiloff, of Nova Scotia, Canada, with whom she had a joyful reunion in 2013, half- sister Anastasia Holodiloff Wood, (Roger A.), nephew Hudson A. Wood, all of Salinas, CA, niece Katrina Wood Appleton (Lt. M.G. Appleton) of Omaha, Nebraska, grand-nephew Gavin A. Appleton, former husband Kosta Pirpiris, of Randolph, MA, and childhood friend, Maria (Lydon) Barnes, of Warwick, RI. Fran was predeceased by her adoptive parents, James and Eileen Jenkins, aunts Mary Jenkins, and Betty McAllister, and uncles William Jenkins, and Michael McAllister. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

Your cats Oreo, Lia, Tia and Minky are all smiling with you on the stairway to heaven. Lynx and Thor are safe and sound and you will see them again soon!

Memorial services will be held at Gillooly Funeral Home in the Summer of 2022. More details will be available soon.
