Francis "Franny" M. Folan

FOLAN, Francis M. “Franny” 69, of Norwood, at home surrounded by his loving family, Thursday evening, January 25. Son of the late Francis M. and Mary F. (Grady) Folan. Beloved husband of 33 years of Mary Lou (Finbow) Folan. Devoted father of Francis R. Folan of Norwood. Loving brother of Kathleen Folan, and Kevin Folan and his wife Geraldine, and uncle of Kevin and Ryan Folan, all of Norwood. Mr. Folan was a 1968 Graduate of Norwood High School, and went on to earn his Associate’s Degree in Landscape from the Stockbridge School, U Mass, Amherst. He was the proprietor of Folan’s Landscaping Inc. of Norwood. He was a member of the Norwood Elks and was a Mason. Funeral Tuesday January 30, from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD, at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy’s Church, Norwood at 10:30. Visiting hours Monday 4 – 8. Interment Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Franny’s memory to the Margaret H.
