So sorry to learn of Fred's passing. I used to see him often when we worked at the same office at State Street Bank, and I was saddened to learn this morning at the Boston Marathon of his passing. It was always a pleasure to see him each year on the volunteer team. He will be greatly missed.

Fred was a wonderful friend and neighbor. He gave so much to the Norwood community and his friends and family. He watched over my parents for so many years. He was one of a kind. They don't make people like him anymore. His death is truly heartbreaking.

I played a lot of summer baseball through the years and it all started when I was 9 and 10 years old playing for guys like Fred, the Eckhardts, Benny Benson and Bob Grenham. Great memories.

Guys like Fred are part of the fabric of the great community and youth sports programs that my friends and I were fortunate enough to grow up in.

Years later I shared many train rides home from Boston with him - a true gentleman from the word go!

My deepest condolences to Mary Ellen, Kelly and the entire Millin family.

Our heartfelt condolences to Fred's family , and a huge thank you for his contributions to the youth of Norwood.
Understated quite gentlemen with the class and moral compass that Fred had is something that is becoming rarer and rarer in this day and age. The youth of Norwood (& the rest of the world) could really use a few more Fred Millins.

Rest in peace - with love, Norwood little leauge.

So very sad to learn today about Fred’s passing. I worked with Fred years ago at State Street but we’d sometimes bump into each other at Roche Bros or Conrad’s in Norwood. I remember how proud he was of his daughter — talking about her always made him smile. My condolences and deepest sympathy to you both.
