James R. “Jim” Morse, of Brockton and formerly of Dedham, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday December 28, 2023.
Born in Norwood, he was the son of the late Richard A. “Dick” and Viola (Gustafson) Morse.
Jim grew up in East Dedham and spent many summers camping at Maple Park in Wareham. He was a 1976 graduate of Dedham High School. Jim worked for Halliday Graphics as a Materials Expediter for many years.
Jim was the loving brother of Richard Morse and his wife Laurieanne of Dade City, FL, Steven Morse and his wife Laura of Ctr. Tuftonboro, NH, and Karen and her husband Brian Clougher of Norwood. Cherished uncle of Jeffery Morse and his wife Kanjana, Joseph Morse, Kelly and her husband Justin Adler, Kimberly Clougher, Michael Greez and his wife Robin, Noah Greez and was the great-uncle of four.
At the request of Jim’s family, all funeral services will be private.
