Jeanne "Jill" (Stanley-Brown) Driscoll

Jeanne "Jill" Stanley-Brown Driscoll passed away peacefully at her home in Norwood, Massachusetts on January 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 70 years old.

Jill dedicated her life to the care and service of others, leaving an indelible mark on her community. Since 1997, she worked in the Norwood Public School system, initially as a school nurse and most recently as the Nurse Leader. She was tireless in her efforts and unwavering in her commitment to the children and families of Norwood. Jill was a true force of nature, an absolute go getter and a “get things done” kind of nurse. Before joining the Norwood schools, she worked at Boston Children’s Hospital. Jill graduated from Manhattanville College in 1976 and earned her nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979. In 2015, she completed a Master’s of Education in School Nursing from Cambridge College, further advancing her ability to serve her community.

Jill is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Paul Driscoll; their four children, Sarah, Emily, Christopher, and David; and her two siblings, Beth and David. She was predeceased by her parents, Jeanne and Edward Stanley-Brown, who are laid to rest on Nantucket Island. Jill’s legacy of compassion and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched throughout her remarkable life.

A Private Interment of her ashes will take place in her beloved summer haven on Nantucket Island. She will be deeply missed by those lucky enough to have known her!
