Jeanne S. (Seery) Ferris

FERRIS, Jeanne S. (Seery), lifelong resident of Norwood, passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2014. She was 61. Born in Norwood, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanne (Hart) Seery. Jeanne was avid reader, loved travelling to Aruba and cherished spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of Robert M. Ferris; loving mother of Heather Jandrue and her husband Bill of Norwood, Jennifer Ferris and her fiancé Frank Polischuk of Wakefield and Kristen Ferris of West Roxbury; cherished grandmother of Robert and Nicholas Jandrue and Joshua Polischuk; devoted sister of Joseph Seery, Jr. and his wife Mary Lou of Norwood, Anne Flagg of Gill, Elaine Carrigan of Norwood, David Seery of Norwood and the late Michael Seery and his late wife Carol; sister-in-law Joan Ferris of Foxborough. She is also survived by her niece, Kym May of Aurora, IL, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31 at 9:00am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Interment will follow the Mass in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 2:00-6:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Jeanne S. Ferris may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
