Dear Dad,
Your jorney was long and somtimes difficult, however you found a way to persevere and create a life for us all filled with many great times and precious moments. We thank you for this. Go in peace and join Mam and Kevin as well as all of your family and friends.

My father was a very hard worker never stopped but he would always find the time when we were little kids to take us  to rocky woods on a Sunday afternoon for an ice cream 

My favorite memory of Pop was his lessons in Gaelic. He was so very proud of his Irish heritage and culture! I am thankful he took the time to share some of his experiences with me as I will cherish them forever. 

I pray he is now reunited with my beloved Nana and Uncle Kevin.

My most cherished memories with Pop were his lessons in teaching Gaelic. He was so very proud of his Irish heritage and culture that I couldn't be more thankful for his experiences and stories that he shared with me.

I pray he is reunited with my beloved Nana and Uncle Kevin and I pray he can now rest peacefully.

Uncle Jerry was a proud Irish man and an even prouder Corkonian. His love of his native country and its language was evident in each conversation which always ended with a few sentences of Irish which we had to reciprocate. His mind was sharp and his recall was enviable. On his last trip home to his native Cork, as we drove through Patrick street, he told me the name of every shop and shopkeeper along the full length of the street as if time had stood still and everything was still as it was before he had left to make his new life in Norwood. Jerry’s love of family was immense but nothing was the same after the loss of his beloved Marie and Kevin. We hope he is now reunited with them, his parents and his two doting sisters and that there is a hoolie taking place just like the ones I remember on his trips back home.

Our deepest sympathies and prayers to all his family from Ciara, Uncle Kieran and Family. 

Codladh samh mo chara,Jerry was a proud graduate of The Model School in Cork where all subjects were taught in gaelic,he had an incredible memory and was very well read which made for a great conversationalist and fond memories.Our condolences to the O'Neill  family.
