Joan Arnold

Joan (Horwitz) Arnold, 77, of Norwood, passed away October 29, 2021. Born November 5, 1943 in Boston to the late Norman and Helena (Bowes) Horwitz. She was the beloved wife of 25 years to the late, Robert Arnold.

Joan was employed for many years by Financial Publishing Company in Boston as a Credit and Collections Manager. She loved her job and the interactions and friendships she created along the way. Joan enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, reading and having her family around her. She was always willing to lend a hand or an ear. Joan will be remembered most for her kind, generous heart and loving spirit.

Norwood, Kellie J. Arnold and Fred Rogers of Boston; loving grandmother of Daniel R Arnold, Michael R. Baglio and Robert R. Arnold; sister and friend to James M. Horwitz and Patsy Emberley of Peabody.

Visitation will be held on Friday Novemeber 5, 2021 at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood from 10am to 12pm, with a funeral home service at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton.
