Jonathan Sanon

Jonathan Sanon of Norwood passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. He was 35.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Jonathan was the son of Louis Sylvain Sanon of Haiti, Marie Marcelin of Norwood, and Moliere Desrosiers of Norwood. Jonathan was raised in Roslindale and was a graduate of West Roxbury High School. He worked for many years in local restaurants. Jonathan was always smiling. He was a wonderful son, brother, and friend.

Jonathan was the brother of Ervain Sanon, Geanne and Marie Louise Sanon, all of Canada, and Yurhi and Daryl Desrosiers, all of Norwood. He was the grandson of Jacqueline Marcelin of Haiti and the late Abel Marcelin; the nephew of Nylsa and Hans Marcelin, Gislaine Baptiste; and cousin of Sary and Bernard Saint Remy, all of Haiti.

All services are private and in the care of Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood.
