Junko "Jun" Concannon

CONCANNON, Junko “Jun” (Yasui), of Norwood on July 12. Formerly of Hamada, Japan. Beloved wife of Anthony Concannon of Norwood and devoted mother of Timothy and Sean Concannon, both of Boston. She was the daughter of the late Masao and Chieko (Hikawa) Yasui, and the sister of the late Yukiko Yasui. Jun is survived by her dear friend Yoko Sasaki, her sister in-law Margaret Abramson and her husband Stephen of Norwood, her nephew Michael Abramson of Norwood, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mrs. Concannon was a long-time teacher at the Japanese Language School of Greater Boston. Visiting hours will be held on Weds. July 15 from 4 to 8 PM, with a closing service beginning at 7:30, in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD. Burial will be Mon. July 20, at 11 AM at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
