Leonard R. "Lenny" Brown

Leonard R. "Lenny" Brown of Norwood, passed away on Monday October 14, 2024 at age 75.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Doris (Blachford) and Louis Brown. He attended local schools and worked for many years at the Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury.

He was an avid recreational saltwater fisherman and spent much of his time letting them get away on the Cape Cod Canal. He also loved his puppies and everyone else’s puppies as well. He was fiercely protective of his family, and his smile was kind, warm, and infectious.

Lenny was the beloved husband of Linda T. (Prescott) Brown of Norwood, and the devoted father of Michelle Brown and her wife Johanna of Tiverton, RI and the late Jennifer Greenstein. He was the brother of Ronald Brown of Dedham, Ralph Brown and his wife Maureen, Steven Brown, Dorothy and her husband Billy Woods all of FL, the late Lewis Brown, and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, 409 Corey Street WEST ROXBURY on Monday October 28 at 12 noon. Please arrive at the main entrance to the cemetery by 11:45 AM. Arrangements are in the care of Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., Norwood.
