Lucia Lyn Canniff

Lucia Lyn Canniff passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her parents on August 27, 2026, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Lucia was welcomed into the world on August 27, 2026, at 1:05pm to parents, Jon and Ashley. Lucia’s life, though brief, was full of love, happiness, warmth, and kisses. She brought so much hope, love, and light to her parents.

Lucia Lyn was welcomed into Heaven by her sister, Nathalia Lyn, who passed away before her. Lucia is survived by her parents, Jon & Ashley Canniff of Norwood, and her grandparents Ron & Pam Adams of Westwood and Fred & Linda Canniff of Norwood. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, great-grandparents, fur siblings, and additional family members and friends.

Lucia will be buried alongside her sister at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Arrangements are in the care of Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood.

Mama and Daddy love you so much and will continue to love you for the rest of our days. You will forever be our light. Until we meet again, our sweet girl.

She was so very special,

A precious gift from the very start.

We held her gently in our arms,

Though her time on earth was brief,

Her presence will never fade.

For the love she left behind her

Our baby has gone to play among the angels,

It broke our hearts to lose her,
