Age 80, of Marblehead, MA, passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2022. Born in Norwood, MA on March 28, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Lydia (Manley) McGuff.
Marcia (aka “Mike”) was the beloved wife of the late Robert Edward Jenkins (aka Bob, aka Bobby, aka “the Bob”) and a devoted mother to Eric and his wife, Terah, of Temecula, CA, Mark and his wife, Jennifer of Marblehead, MA, Kara of Playa del Rey, CA and the late Kristine Jenkins. She cherished her grandchildren: Katie, Chris, Thomas, Quincie, Colin, and Elliot Jenkins, Tyler Nutting, Natalie and Todd Oldroyd, Makenzie and Peyton Raab, Trevor Nutting and great-grand daughter, Cassie Oldroyd.
The youngest of seven siblings, she was the devoted sister of Elizabeth Ann Curran and her late husband Joseph of Norwood, Patricia Hall and her late husband Raymond of Harwich, Sheila Barnett and her late husband Jack of Attleboro, and pre-deceased by Thomas J. McGuff, Kathleen Kenney, Mary Lou Foley and her husband James. She was the dear sister-in-law of Irma McGuff of Somers, CT, June Vetter of Whispering Pines, NC, Thomas Kenney of Quincy, MA and the late Olga Onasch and Paul Jenkins. Marcia is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews and her forever friends from first grade at St. Catherine’s school.
Marcia was a graduate of Norwood High School and Regis College and – together with her family, explored much of the USA – creating homes and lasting friendships in New Hampshire, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York and California. She worked as a substitute teacher, a librarian at the School of Theology in Claremont, and pursued a Master of Library Science degree while working in the subscription services industry for Faxon and Ovid. She was a consultant for Wolters Kluwer for many years, retiring in 2019.
Marcia was passionate about helping others and enjoyed volunteering in both her church and community. She loved reading (especially mysteries) and spending time with family and friends: playing games, working on puzzles, going on adventures or just being together.

Interment Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
