

Ingeborg Marie Gulbranson Kask, age 102, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Twin Lakes in North Carolina. She lived a life that can only be described as larger than life itself, marked by her extroverted personality and an ever-present sense of humor that lifted the spirits of those around her.
Marie’s journey was one of devotion and service. With an unwavering commitment, she dedicated herself to becoming a teacher in the public school system to support her beloved husband, Rev. Dr. Raymond Harold Kask, through Seminary School. It was a testament to her loving nature, as she gracefully transitioned into the inspiring role of a preacher's wife. Throughout her husband's ministry, Marie stood steadfastly by his side, a true partner in faith, offering her unwavering support and encouragement, leaving a remarkable impact on many through her kindness and compassion.
Her passions were as vibrant as her personality. Marie adored dancing and found solace and joy in music, which resonated deeply within her soul.
Marie is survived by her devoted daughter, Kristen Kask Robinson, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. Dr. Raymond Harold Kask; their son, Luther Raymond Kask; her cherished parents, Harry and Margaret Dahlin Gulbranson; and her sister, Margaret Folmar Gulbranson.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 24 Berwick Street, NORWOOD on Saturday, August 2, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
