Mary T. Flaherty

FLAHERTY, Mary T.(Keady) age 89 of Norwood, Wednesday Oct. 7, 2015. Born in Co. Galway, Ireland to the late Thomas and Mary Keady (Carr). Beloved wife of the late Bartley F. Flaherty. Devoted mother to Michael J. Flaherty and his wife Terese of Walpole, Mary B. Flaherty, Thomas A. Flaherty, Patrick F. Flaherty and Christine A. McCarthy all of Norwood. Proud Mamo of Kaitlin McCarthy, Kelsey McCarthy of Norwood and Kathleen Flaherty and Michael Flaherty of Walpole. She survived by her devoted siblings Margaret O’Toole, Bridget “Bridie” Faherty of Norwood, Sarah Naughton and her husband Michael of Co. Galway, Ireland and the late Patrick Keady of Ireland. She was also Auntie Maime to many nieces and nephews here and in Ireland. Funeral Tuesday October 13, at 10 AM from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington St., Norwood at 11. Interment will follow the Mass in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Calling hours will be held on Monday at from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
