Mary G. Groh

Mary G. “Gerry” (Hayes) Groh, longtime resident of Norwood, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026. She was 95.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Mary A. Hayes and John C. Hayes. Beloved wife of the late Ronald D. Groh. She is survived by her niece Deborah A. Groh of Norwood, sister-in-law Elaine Groh of Norwood, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, (Rte. 1A) NORWOOD on Friday October 9, 2026, from 9-10:30 AM, prior to the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood, at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Gerry’s memory to St. Catherine of Siena Parish; The Deutsches Altenheim German Center, 2222 Centre Street, West Roxbury, Mass. 02132, or a charity of one's choice.
