Mary (O'Neill) Pugh

PUGH, Mary Patricia (O’Neill), 92, of Norwood, Saturday December 29. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Mabel O’Neill. Graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, Lawrence and Merrimack College. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Pugh Lt. Col. U.S.A.F. (Retired) and devoted mother of Robert B. Pugh of Norwood. She is also survived by her sister in-law, Barbara Pugh of Reading and several nieces and nephews. Mary was the sister of the late John O’Neill and his wife Jane, Rhona Tully and her husband Joseph and Laurence O’Neill and his wife Mary; sister in-law of the late George Pugh. Funeral from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A), Norwood on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 O’clock at St. Timothy Church in Norwood. Interment in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 3-7 pm at the funeral home, relatives and friends kindly invited.
