Maureen Theresa Kelliher

Maureen Theresa Kelliher, age 69, of Norwood, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Born in Norwood, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mildred (Cleary) Kelliher, beloved aunt, cousin, and an amazing friend.

First generation Irish Catholic American, she attended the St. Catherine of Siena School and graduated from Norwood High in 1973. She worked at the Massachusetts State Lottery for 34 years. Beginning as a courier, she ascended to the computer room as the Control Room Coordinator. She is a graduate of Massasoit Community College earning an Associate's Degree in science. Maureen enjoyed reading, classic rock, and animals, (especially her two 17 year old cats Tyler and Taz). Maureen, Mo, Auntie M, loved fiercely and was devoted to her faith. She enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods where she played bingo and slots. She greatly valued family and would do anything for a friend.

Maureen is survived by her sister, Ann Marie Kelliher, her brother Andrew Kelliher and his wife Darlene of Marshfield, her nephew Andrew P. E. Kelliher, his wife, Bridgette, their children, Penelope and George, of Pennsylvania, niece Kimberly Kelliher of Braintree, and nephew Sean Kelliher of Marshfield. She is also survived by many cousins, friends, former colleagues, and loved ones.

Visitation at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St, (Rt.1A) NORWOOD, on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 4PM - 8PM. Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 9:30AM - 10:30AM. Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena, 547 Washington St., Norwood at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
