Maureen Theresa Vaughan

February 3, 1944July 15, 2020

Maureen “Moe” Vaughan passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 15, 2020.

She will be remembered fondly by her daughters Julie LaRuffa (Dulmage) and Kate Dulmage and her sisters Patricia Lionberger, Claire Burdziuk, and Kathy Brandli.

She grew up in Boston with her six brothers and sisters. She was fun loving, an avid Red Sox fan, and loved to care for and help other people. She had a career as a phlebotomist and worked as an EMT when she was younger. She spent most of her adult life in Norwood and was a favorite at the senior center. She was always kind and giving to others and touched many lives. Her positive attitude and laughter touched many people and she will be missed greatly.

A small celebration of life memorial will be held for family only. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to www.nami.org.

Dear Julie & Kate,
Growing up your mother always welcomed me into your home and made me feel like part of your family. As we became older she would always tell me how proud she was of her girls. I am so happy that you two have eachother during this difficult time but also for all of the wonderful times ahead. My deepest condolences to you both.
