

Michael J. Caprarella, 95, husband of the late Elaine (Rubenstein), of East Sandwich, MA, formerly of Norwood and Brookline, MA. Son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Rubbicco) Caprarella, brother of the late Vincent Caprarella, Eleanor Busalacchi, Joseph Caprarella. Survived by his brother Edward and his wife May, nieces, Gail Caprarella, Deborah Kouri and husband George, Edward Caprarella, Jr., grandniece, Kara Kouri, and grandnephew, Stephen Kouri and his wife Laura, and several nieces and nephews.
Michael was a true entrepreneurial sales professional with a long career in national sales, first for PaperMate pen, introducing the concept of the disposable pen and then national sales manager for Moen Faucets, introducing the single-handed faucet into the industry.
Michael served in World War II, and was a student of history and world politics. His love of family, work ethic, and vigor for life will forever be missed.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, February 7th, at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., NORWOOD, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. A visiting hour will be held on Saturday, February 7th, prior to the Mass from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to the MSPCA, Cape Cod, 1577 Falmouth Road, Centerville, MA 02632.
