CATALDO, Michael G. of Norwood and formerly of Somerville, passed away on Monday July 7, 2025 at age 89.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Michael and Abbie (Hall) Cataldo. Michael attended local schools and went on to earn his further education with the Stigmatine Fathers. He worked for many years substitute teaching in the Arlington Public Schools. Michael was deeply devoted to his Catholic faith, and enjoyed reading.
Michael was the brother of the late Richard Cataldo, and is survived by many cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann's Church, 399 Medford St. SOMERVILLE on Friday July 18 at 10 AM, followed by Interment at St. Michael Cemetery in Roslindale. Visiting Hours are omitted. Arrangements are in the care of Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. Norwood.
