Noel Andrea (Bernazzani) McEttrick

Noel Andrea (Bernazzani) McEttrick, 71, of Norton, passed away after a brief battle with illness on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Born in Norwood, she was a daughter of Elizabeth Bernazzani of Brownfield, Maine and the late John "Pal" Bernazzani.

Noel grew up in Norwood and attended Norwood High School. Noel, a self-proclaimed domestic goddess, was known as a loving mother, sister, daughter and aunt. She was a constant volunteer for any school-related activities and fundraisers, which lead to her being on the planning board for the Norton Middle School. Her involvement in the Norton school system continued even after all her children had graduated. She was a fierce supporter of the Massachusetts Accessibility law in Norton. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading, especially while sitting on the beach at Pequawket Lake in Brownfield, Maine.

Noel leaves behind her husband of 49 years Joseph McEttrick of Norton. She is survived by her sons, Seth and Will of Norton, and was the mother of the late Matthew McEttrick. Noel was sister to the late John "Jack" Bernazzani of Foxboro, Betsy Bernazzani of Portland, Maine, Anne Marie Bernazzani of Brownfield, Maine, Christopher Bernazzani and his longtime partner Tracy Liberty of Brownfield, Maine, and Ruth Bernazzani of Roslindale and sister-in-law to Ken McEttrick and Pat McEttrick of Mansfield, and the late Gary McEttrick of Pembroke. Noel was the aunt of Joel Bernazzani of Danvers, Jay Bernazzani of Cranston, Rhode Island, Jason Bernazzani of Fitchburg, Kate Bernazzani Speake of Melbourne, Arkansas, Brian Clark of Hookset, New Hampshire, Robert "Bobby" Poisson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sophia Bernazzani Barron of Melrose, John "Jack" Bernazzani of Portland, Maine, Michael McEttrick of Attleboro, Dan McEttrick of Mansfield, Patrick McEttrick of Attleboro, Jacqui McEttrick of Milton, Kimberli McEttrick Arnold of Hanson, Deborah McEttrick of Hanson, Andraea McEttrick of Pembroke, Tyler McEttrick of Marshfield.

Visiting hours at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A) Norwood on Monday July 17th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington St. Norwood at 11:00am on Tuesday July 18th.
