Patricia Ellen Conley

Patricia Ellen (Faunce) Conley, age 81, of Norwood, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. Faunce and Kathryn (DeCoste) Faunce.

Patricia grew up in Milton, MA, and attended Saint Agatha Elementary and Fontbonne Academy, which led her to the St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in Brighton. This in turn led her to a long career as a Registered Nurse at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, where she would work for 44 years before retiring.

She treasured her Scituate summers where she hosted family and friends as well as volunteering at the Scituate Beach Association kids program. She will be remembered as being kind and giving.

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Richard O. Conley Sr. She is survived by her son Richard Conley Jr. of Norwood; her grandchildren Tommy and Allison; her sister Elaine Faunce; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her sister, Marcia Faunce Reardon; and her brother, Gerald Faunce.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD on Monday, May 11th, from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends will gather in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 12th, beginning at 9:30 AM, prior to the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated in St. Denis Catholic Church, 157 Washington St., Westwood at 11o'clock. Interment will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rockland.
