Patrick O’Riordan, born in Glenbeigh, County Kerry, Ireland, was the beloved son of Patrick and Bridget O’Riordan. He grew up in a large and close‑knit family, cherished brother to the late Mary Ann (Glenbeigh, Ireland), John (Killorglin, Ireland), Bridie (England), Kathleen (England), Noreen (Clahanelinehan, Ireland), and Eileen (England).
Patrick met the love of his life, Noreen, in Cromane, Ireland. They married on August 24, 1968, and together embarked on a new chapter, immigrating to the United States in 1969. Patrick spent his early years in Boston working at the Federal Reserve Bank, a role he took great pride in. After beginning their life in Boston, they settled in Westwood in 1979, where Patrick became a devoted member of St. Denis Parish and an active presence in the community.
A man of deep faith, gentle spirit, and unmistakable Irish charm, Patrick found joy in music. He loved playing the accordion and tin whistle, filling gatherings with traditional tunes and heartfelt melodies.
Patrick is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Noreen; his sisters‑in‑law Bridie (Boston) and Kathleen (Killorglin,Ireland); his brother‑in‑law John (Norwood), and many cherished nieces and nephews across the United States, Ireland, and England.
His legacy is one of kindness, devotion, faith, and family — a life lived with quiet strength and enduring love.
