Born in Norwood, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Lorraine (Sheehan) Matchett.
Paul was the husband of Anna Matchett of Braintree; brother of Jonathan B. Matchett and his wife Lindsey of North Smithfield, RI; uncle of Erica, Laura and Thomas Matchett. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood. Interment will be private.
