Priscilla J. Way

WAY, Priscilla J., age 86 of East Walpole, and formerly of Falmouth and Norwood, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025.

Born in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of John and Elsie Johnson. Priscilla was a graduate of Keuka College in NY and over the years worked for American Airlines, Sears and Morrill Memorial Library in Norwood.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Jonathan “Jack” C. Way, Jr., whom she first met in middle school. After they married, careers took them into New England, where they settled in Norwood, and raised their four children.

Priscilla enjoyed playing bridge, reading, her many friends and most of all, traveling. She has traveled all over the world and visited every continent. However, her greatest delight was her relationship and regular contact with her four children, twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. This, and her deep commitment to her faith, fed her love of life, family and friends.

Priscilla is survived by her four children, Jonathan C. Way III and his wife Elizabeth of Plymouth, Steven F. Way and his wife Kelly of Norwood, Catherine E. (Way) Breen and her husband Mark of Walpole, and Robert P. Way and his wife Megan of Falmouth.

Services from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD on Thursday, July 31 at 9:30am. Funeral Mass in St. Timothy’s Parish, 650 Nichols Street, Norwood at 10:30. Visiting Hours in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 30, from 3–7pm. Private burial will take place at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
