Richard Madusky

Richard Madusky, age 79, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Born in Norwood, he was the son of the late Paul Madusky and Agnes (Sadaway) Madusky.

Richard was a very avid sports fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins. He loved to attend Patriots games in Foxboro and also loved to play sports, such as softball along with his friends at Lifeworks. He was very outgoing, with a positive attitude. He had many friends from both Norwood and Lifeworks. He cared deeply about his family. Every conversation began with “How are you feeling’. He would then inquire about everyone else in your family. His professional life included working for Zmible Metal Corp. in Norwood and Boston View Motel in Walpole.

Richard is survived by cousins Carol Preibis and Michael Sadaway of Norwood, MA, Michele O’Connor and Anthony Sadaway of Easton, MA.

Visiting Hours in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St, (Rt.1A) NORWOOD, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 9AM – 10AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, East Walpole at 10:30AM. Interment at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
