Shocked and saddened by the passing of this gentle-man. In the time I knew him he was always kind, caring and funny; a pleasure to spend time with. The times spent with Bob and family here in Switzerland will remain fond memories. My prayers for and deepest condolences to Sylvia, Kevin and Heather.

To the Mansfield Family, please accept our deepest sympathy in Bob's passing. Nick and Bob were roommates at the Clocktower Mill apts in Manchester, Ct while working together at First Brands. We have so many great memories from that time, and friendships that are now scattered throughout the country. Bob's smile will never be forgotten, and his joy was contagious.

My sincere condolences to Bob's family and friends. I met Bob in Houston back in '84 and we've stayed in touch ever since. Bob was an inspiration to me in many ways. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to Kevin, Heather and Silvia and the entire family for their most untimely loss. Kevin & Heather, I hope that you find some comfort in this poem:

I know that no matter what
You will always be with me.
When life separates us
I'll know it is only your soul
Saying goodbye to your body
But your spirit will be with me always.
When I see a bird chirping on a nearby branch
I will know it is you singing to me.
When a butterfly brushes gently by me so care freely
I will know it is you assuring me you are free from pain.
When the gentle fragrance of a flower catches my attention
I will know it is you reminding me
To appreciate the simple things in life.
When the sun shining through my window awakens me
I will feel the warmth of your love.
When I hear the rain pitter patter against my window sill
I will hear your words of wisdom
And will remember what you taught me so well'
That without rain trees cannot grow
Without rain flowers cannot bloom
Without life's challenges I cannot grow strong.
No matter where I am
Your spirit will be beside me
For I know that no matter what
You will always be with me.

May God bless each of you through this very difficult time. He is with you and will walk with you to heal your hearts.

My deepest condolences to the Mansfield family. I knew Rob in high school where we both swam on the Norwood High swim team (with my brother Tom) and at UMass where we were roommates in Orchard Hill from 1981-1982. He was a charismatic and positive person that people loved to be around. This is very sad.
