Roger G. Caldicott

Roger G. Caldicott, age 89 of Braintree and formerly of Norwood, passed away on Tuesday November 11, 2025.

Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Arthur and Amelia (Oldewurtle) Caldicott. Roger was raised in Dorchester, and was a graduate of English High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from Fisher College. He was a Korean War, United States Army Veteran. Roger worked for many years as an Engineer in Nuclear Medicine for Baird Atomic.

Roger was the beloved husband of 51 years of the late Ruth M. (Bibbey) Caldicott, and the devoted father of Debra A. Caldicott of Weymouth. He was the proud grandfather of Avayah Caldicott.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD on Sunday November 16, from 3-6 PM, and again on Monday November 17, beginning at 10 AM, prior to the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood at 11 AM. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
