Shirley Marie (Sprague) Ghostlaw

GHOSTLAW, Shirley Marie (Sprague) 81 of Norwood, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday December 5. Born in Hyde Park, she was a daughter of the late Robert Sprague who was born in Maine, and Margaret (Kelly) Sprague who was born in Brideswell, Roscommon Ireland. She was the beloved wife of 56 years of Ernest W. Ghostlaw. Devoted mother of Glenn Ghostlaw and his wife Deirdre of Hanover, Wayne Ghostlaw and his wife Amanda of Wrentham, Derek Ghostlaw and his wife Julie of Canton, and the late Karen Smith and her husband Daniel Smith of Norwood. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Kelli, and Kacie Smith, and Nora, Kevin, Pierce, Ethan, Nolan, Brian, Thomas, Madelyn, and Lucy Ghostlaw. Sister of the late Robert Sprague and his wife Pauline who resided in Hyde Park, Thomas Sprague of Hyde Park and his late wife Eleanor, Donald Sprague and his wife Marilyn of Wrentham, and William Sprague of Dedham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday December 9 from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD, at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood at 11. Visiting hours Thursday 4 – 8. Interment Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Graduate of Hyde Park High School Class of 1953, and longtime employee of Norwood Hospital.
