Steven G. Fleury

FLEURY, Steven G. “Fluda” 65, of Bellingham formerly of Norwood MA passed away peacefully at home on January 29th after a long illness. He was surrounded by his loving family, friends and his dog Jackson. Beloved husband of Katherine Perry Fleury for 42 years, Steven was predeceased by his father Joseph and his brother Michael. In addition to his wife, Steven is survived by his mother Jean Callahan Fleury of Carver, his daughters; Kristen Fleury Williford of Bellingham and Amy Fleury of Walpole, his granddaughter Annabelle Williford of Bellingham, and his brother Dennis Fleury of Boston. Steven was born in 1952 and grew up in Norwood MA. He attended St. Catherine’s Elementary and graduated from Norwood High School. Steven retired from Verizon after 41 years of service. Steven enjoyed his monthly poker games with his life-long friends from Norwood and was an avid sports fan, who collected sports memorabilia, especially all Boston teams. Steven loved his yearly trips to Vegas- where Steven and his wife renewed their wedding vows on August 16, 2015. Steven was the sweetest husband, loving son, most amazing Dad to Kristen and Amy, and Papa to Annabelle. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday February 10, from 11am - 1pm in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. Norwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life following the visiting hours at the VFW, 193 Dean St. Norwood.
