Thomas F. O'Leary

Born and educated in Dorchester, he was a proud US Navy veteran, serving in World War II and Korea.

He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth C. (MacKay) O’Leary; loving father of Geoffrey T. O’Leary and John S. O’Leary, both of Norwood and Mark F. O’Leary and his wife Kathleen of Laconia, NH; cherished grandfather of Shannon Kropis and her husband Ron of Seekonk, Kristin Taber and her fiancé Candi of W. Warwick, RI and Brendan O’Leary of Nashua, NH; proud great-grandfather of Anthony, Nicholas and Ava Taber and Hailey and Tyler Kropis. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at 9:30am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Timothy’s Church, Norwood. Interment with military honors will follow the Mass in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
