William Burke

Bill was born on May 20, 1935 to Jeremiah and Julia Burke in Norwood, MA. He raised his family in Walpole and leaves six children - David Burke, Susan Haley, Elizabeth Burke, Paul Burke, Ann Shaw and William Burke, Jr.; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

His siblings, Anna Verrochi, Jeremiah Burke, Jane Mackie and Evelyn Silvestri preceded him in death.

William served in the Navy and was a shoe salesman most of his adult life. He enjoyed theater, golf and directed musical variety shows. He loved an audience and good humor.

Services will be held privately at Gillooly Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 30th at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Norwood with interment to follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
