HASKELL, William A, 83, a lifelong resident of his home in Norwood, passed away in Boston, Tuesday, April, 14, 2015. Born in Norwood, he was the son of the late Allan and Natalie (Beach) Haskell. William was the beloved husband of Carolyn M. (Russell) Haskell of Norwood and the dear brother-in-law of Dorothy (Russell) and her husband, Peter Daly of Templeton. He retired from IBM and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Norwood. He was a lover of classical music and of attending concerts of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 18th at the First Congregational Church, 100 Winter St., NORWOOD. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Boston Symphony Orchestra via www.bso.org/forms/donate.
