Zofia Filipek

Zofia (Kukulka) Filipek of Norwood, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the age of 93. Zofia was born on May 19, 1926 in Wolica Piaskowa, Poland to the late Jacenty & Franciszka (Surman) Kukulka. She was the beloved wife of Walter Filipek of Norwood. Loving mother of Antonina Oles & her husband Andy of Norwood, Joseph Filipek & his wife Ola of Largo, FL, Stella Stojanowski & her husband Richard of West Roxbury, and Vicky Laszczak & her late husband Christopher of Norwood. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Anita Karasko & her husband Eric, Mark Oles & his wife Christy, Peter Stojanowski & his wife MaryJayne, Gregory Laszczak & his wife Julie, Adam Stojanowski & his wife Kelly, Robert Filipek & his wife Sarah, Mathew Laszczak & his wife Shawna and great-grandmother of 17. She is also survived by many extended family members. Due to the recent public health concern regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic and the well-being of others, a private graveside service will take place at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
